The Express Entry system is used to manage applications for three primary federal immigration programs:

You may need to gather initial documents, such as language test scores and an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
Once you’ve completed your pre-assessment and are satisfied with your eligibility, you can create your Express Entry profile. This profile will generate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, which ranks you against other candidates in the pool. You will then wait for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) based on your score.
After entering the pool, you will need to monitor for an ITA. Your CRS score will determine how quickly you receive an invitation. Staying informed about recent Express Entry draws can help you understand your chances. Make sure to keep your EE profile updated with any changes in your situation, such as new work experience or updated language scores.
Congratulations on receiving your ITA! Once you have your invitation, you must submit the required documents within 60 days. Be aware that your ITA will expire after this period. If you have a high CRS score, you might want to start gathering common documents sooner. After receiving your ITA, you will have access to a personalized checklist of the necessary documents.
